It was a beach in Jouberton

Jouberton: The 30th of December 2017 is a date that has definitely left memories in most of the people who went to the first ever beach party to be held in Jouberton this passed Saturday. Maklera Magazine, Peekay Entertainment and Apex Solutions joined forces to literally bring a beach to an inland City of Matlosana; this caused a lot of sceptical remarks from many of the city’s entertainment sectors.

How? Where? Who? They asked, and in response the Peekay Entertainment team and its partners put on a show which dared many to put their money where their mouths are. The event which sent excitement waves on social media and went viral for days on end. Despite the fact that the Beach Party was organized within a short space of time, the workmanship of the three companies displayed professionalism, character and ambition.

After extensive Planning, Marketing and Advertising the project was implemented and delivered on time. Thys Joint transformed into a Hawaiian Lounge complimented by a hot sunny day which put the theme of the beach party together and completed it as an Island/beach holiday destination to entertain, play and dance. Good music, hot Djs, Top performances, sand, water, vests, shorts, bikinis, swimsuits made the beach party entertaining and colourful, Flying Fish was the first to sponsor the event, they brought chairs, tables and banners, Marula Lounge brought their cooking equipment and a Chef to prepare some food for the revelers.

Kwaito legend “Stoan Seate” and Star FM’s Morning breakfast show presenter and producer “Nthabiseng Mkwanazi were MCs for the gig, performances included Lucai-boy, Nizzie Nova, DJ Percy, Dj Long T, Dj Phoroza, Dj Nando, Soul and R&B Dj Thabo Pelesane and Hip Hop Dj Zille. Family Tree’s first lady sexy Nadia Nakai went in and took us on a journey of her career by performing some of her classics and the crowd joined her when she blazed her set with hit songs like “Naaaa Mean, and Money back. The Kingpin of Motswako turned farmer show the crowd he still got it and gave us classics from his album “Amantsi”

The beach party was not only a success but it was well organized, the second beach party is set to be bigger and better in 2018.
