Jouberton: “Bless is a hand that gives”, “Give and you shall receive” we all use this notions almost daily in our daily lives, but these statements can only be mere statements unless they are followed by action.
This action is what one of the most philanthropic foundations in South Africa needs from members of the community of Matlosana and the entire District of Dr Kenneth Kaunda.
The Thabo Pelesane Foundation is continuously extending its warm hands to assist the most affected families and individuals in the community.
Tomorrow on the 21st of March which is a public holiday for human rights day, The Foundation will be doing its Annual Charity & Health Fun Walk in the township of Jouberton, The Fun Walk is scheduled to begin at 06:30, Brazil Stadium. A packet of two Sanitary Towels gets you in, the Sanitary Towels are given to young girls in order to keep them in school.
The foundation also, embarks on a National TB awareness as its founder is a TB Survivor himself, according to Thabo Pelesane a ribbon will be cut and baloons will be released to mark the centenary of The late Statesman Nelson Mandela.
A dialogue of girls and women is also scheduled to take place, which is facilitated by Lungelwa Mkhuzo of “Lu On Thoughts”, Sibongile Tshabalala, Dr Valencia Simmons, Mabo Malaza, Thuli Seokolo and Ntsoaki Ntlabati will be on the panel of discussion, under the banner “Discussions about us cannot happen without us”
