Kanana: Lindiwe Ndamase’s 7 years of hard worked have finally paid off, she was crowned the new reign Miss North West last year on 10 November at the Carnival City in Gauteng.
She is a “Beauty Pageant Queen”, with a modeling career that started in 2013, at a modeling school which was in Flimedia by then.
The Galaxy Models School groomed her and says, “she’s humbled because it has made her who she is today”. For Lindiwe, the career started off as a hobby but eventually became a passion and what she wanted and loved.
Having grew up in the township of Kanana, holds many great amd unforgettable childhood memories for her. And proudly says it is most definetly one of the best highlights in her life.
“It feels so unreal now , when walking in the streets of Kanana and Klerksdorp and being recognized and noticed for doing great in the community”.
The beauty queen wants nothing more than to bring change the community she lives in. She wants to continue inspiring girls and boys that look up to her, to know that it is very much possible if you believe and are focused.
Before recently winning the biggest competition of her life, she won “Miss Prime SA Teen 2nd Princess 2016, Miss North West Teen 2nd Princess 2016, Miss Winter Classic 2017 and Miss Royal Queen 2017” around, and outside the North West Province.
She has become a public figure and is still trying to let everything sink in, because the title has earned her a status and now frequently, she gets, texts and calls daily from strangers telling her how much of an inspiration she is to them.
Lindiwe Ndamase continues to be honored and humbled by all this experience, admitting that it wasn’t an easy competition, but! she gave it her everything, and drew strength from the support she received from everyone, which was nothing short of amazing.
“I am so excited and hyped for 2019 because i will have the opportunity to actually serve my community and help out where I can”.
“My message to all the youth looking up to me, keep your head up high. What’s meant to be will always be. Believe in yourself before anything else and your dreams. And most of all stay strong and positive at all time”.
She thanked her mom, Suzan Ndamase, big family, friends and everyone at church, Roman Catholic Family. “The support and love is appreciated. To everyone on social a “BIG THANK YOU!”. I don’t know you all personally but I appreciate the love. Please continuing on supporting my journey because I am who I am today because of all of you”.
